Accessibility statement
We built this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If any part of it does not work for you, we want to know — and we will fix it.

Our commitment
This website was designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility was a design requirement from the first wireframe, not a retrofit.
Some of our clients work in healthcare and research environments with their own accessibility obligations. It would be poor form for their service provider not to meet the same standard.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page, correct heading order, and landmark regions throughout.
- A visible skip link as the first focusable element on every page.
- All interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard, with a clearly visible 3-pixel focus indicator.
- Menus that open with click or keyboard, close with Escape, and support arrow-key navigation.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface components, in both light and dark themes.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels, exceeding the 24-pixel WCAG 2.2 minimum.
- Form fields with permanently visible labels, programmatically associated error messages, and no reliance on placeholder text.
- Multi-step forms that never ask you to re-enter information you have already given.
- Full support for prefers-reduced-motion; all animation is suppressed when you request it.
- Layouts that reflow to a single column at 320 pixels and remain usable at 200% zoom.
- No CAPTCHA anywhere on the site.
Known limitations
Links to manufacturer websites open in a new tab. This is announced to screen readers, but the destination sites are outside our control and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
The map link on our contact page opens Google Maps, which is a third-party service with its own accessibility characteristics.
