Laboratory equipment service, calibration & emergency repair

Six services, one discipline: keeping refrigeration and controlled-environment equipment running, verified and documented across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Repair & Diagnostics

Fault-finding and repair to manufacturer specification — across refrigeration, controls and mechanical systems, on your site.

  • On-site diagnosis with the test equipment the job requires
  • Repair to the manufacturer’s published specification
  • Refrigerant system service including leak investigation
  • Controller, sensor and alarm circuit verification

Typical situations: alarm won't clear, temperature is drifting.

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled agreements that find the failing gasket, the clogged condenser and the drifting sensor long before they become a 2 a.m. alarm.

  • Scheduled visits at a frequency that matches your risk, not ours
  • Full inspection of refrigeration, electrical and control systems
  • Condenser, filter and coil cleaning
  • Door seal and gasket inspection and adjustment

Typical situations: you only call when something breaks, your documentation has gaps.

Calibration & Certification

Verification that what your display claims is what your chamber is actually doing — documented, repeatable, and scheduled around your audits.

  • Multi-point temperature verification across the chamber
  • Comparison of indicated temperature against measured temperature
  • Assessment of uniformity and recovery behaviour
  • Controller and alarm set point verification

Installation & Relocation

Getting a sensitive unit into position is the easy part. Proving it holds temperature where you have put it is the part that matters.

  • Placement with attention to clearance, ventilation and ambient load
  • Commissioning and initial temperature pull-down
  • Controller and alarm configuration
  • Post-installation temperature verification

FAQ

About working with us

Repair work is quoted per job and preventive maintenance plans are quoted per asset after a site review, because a single refrigerator and a room of ultra-low freezers are genuinely different jobs. After-hours attendance is charged differently to scheduled work and we will tell you before we get in the van.

Often, yes. Our specialism is refrigeration and controlled environments from +4 C to -150 C. Send us the make and model and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.

No. Emergency and repair calls are taken from anyone in our service area. Plan holders do receive priority response and priority access to loaner cold storage, which is one of the honest reasons to have one.

Manufacturers use third-party representatives precisely so that regional service is possible, which is why Dustin holds the certifications he does. If your unit is under warranty, tell us the make and model and we will confirm the correct route before any work begins.
