The situations this service is for

New equipment has arrived

A freezer delivered to a loading dock is not yet a working asset. Placement, ventilation and clearance all decide how it performs for the next decade.

A lab is moving

Relocation is where sensitive equipment most often gets quietly damaged — and where nobody checks afterwards.

Performance changed after a move

A unit that ran perfectly in one room and struggles in another is usually telling you something about the room.

What’s included

Scope of a visit

  • Placement with attention to clearance, ventilation and ambient load
  • Commissioning and initial temperature pull-down
  • Controller and alarm configuration
  • Post-installation temperature verification
  • Relocation planning including contents protection
  • Commissioning documentation for your records
Our process

How it runs

  1. Site assessment

We look at where the unit is going: ambient temperature, clearances, power and how the room behaves in summer.

  2. Place and commission

Positioning, start-up, pull-down and configuration of controls and alarms.

  3. Verify

Confirmation that the unit holds temperature in its actual location, not in theory.

  4. Document and hand over

You get a record of the commissioning, and a maintenance interval recommendation.

Questions

About installation & relocation

Contents should be protected before any move. That is exactly what our loaner and rental cold storage exists for — we plan the two together.

Yes. An installation that has not been verified in its final position is an assumption, not a commissioning.

Make, model, quantity, both locations, access and stair or lift constraints, and whether contents need protecting. A photo of the space helps more than a paragraph.
